Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek is designed for those who have short time on hand but are keen to witness the beauty of Himalayas.
Like its counterpart Everest Base Camp, you don't have to bother walking in extreme trail and dreadful height. Thanks to its well-marked trekking routes and achievable height, any trekkers with moderate fitness can complete the trek easily. Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek is a great introduction to rural Nepal and its high Himalayan profile. Trekkers will get opportunity to witness the great panorama of world’s tenth highest peak - Annapurna and savor the charm of rustic village life in just 7 days of their life.
Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek is shorter and customized version of classic Annapurna Base Camp Trek. But it doesn't mean that you will be compromised to enjoy the grand beauty of Annapurna. You just have to cover more distance than regular trek.The views during Annapurna Short Trek includes the great stretch of Annapurna ranges - Annapurna (8,091m), Gangapurna (7,454m), Machhapuchhre (6,997m), Lamjung (6,983m), Hiunchuli (6,441m) and more. The magnificent base camp is stacked temptingly above the glacier moraine just beneath the gigantic peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Apart from high peaks, you will get the opportunity to discover variety of floral and fauna species which adds another dimension to the trek. If you want to spend more time, you can go for 12 days Annapurna Base Camp Trek or great Annapurna Circuit Trek.
Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (1,300m/4,260ft) and transfer to the hotel
Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (827m/2,700ft) and trek to Pothana (1,990m/6,530ft) - 25 min flight/ 4 - 5 hours trek
Day 03: Trek from Pothana to Landruk (1,620m/5,320ft) and then to Jhinu Danda (1m750m/5,470ft) - 5 - 6 hours
Day 04: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Dobhan (2,500m/ 8,200ft) - 6 - 7 hours
Day 05: Trek from Dobhan to ABC (4,130m/13,550ft) - 7 - 8 hours
Day 06: Trek from ABC to Sinuwa (2,340,/7,680ft) - 7 - 8 hours
Day 07: Trek from Sinuwa to Ghandruk Phedi (1,280m/4,200ft) and then back to Nayapul (1,070m/3,510ft). Drive back to Pokhara
