At 3,210m, Poon Hill is the major attraction of this trek. Also known as Annapurna Sunrise view trek, this trek is suitable for all age groups, particularly best for families with children. You will get into the heart of Annapurna region within 4 - 5 days of hike with superb panorama of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Tukuche, Varaha Shikar and Lamjung Himal. Walking up to Poon Hill view point and enjoying the Himalayan panorama is something that will remain forever in your memory. Apart from Himalayan views, Poon Hill Trek also includes walking through lush rhododendron forest, ethnic villages, torrent rives and high suspension bridges. 

The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking route is well marked and there are many guesthouses and restaurants on the way so you don’t need to worry about getting lost and not being able to find a place to stay and eat. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m) and transfer to the hotel 

Day 02: UNESCO sightseeing tour in Kathmandu and trek preparation day 

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara, lake city and overnight at hotel 

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul (1,070m/3,510ft) and trek to Ulleri (2,080m/6,822ft) - 1.5 hours drive and 5 - 6 hours trek

Day 05: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft) - 4 - 5 hours 

Day 06: Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3,210m/10,528ft) and to Tadapani (2,630m/8,630ft) - 6 - 7 hours 

Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,940m/6,370ft) - 3 - 4 hours 

Day 08: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul (1,070m/3,510ft) and drive back to Pokhara - 3 - 4 hours trek and 1.5 hours drive  Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu
