A circular trek around Annapurna is probably the most popular high altitude trek in the world. The reason for Annapurna Circuit Trek’s popularity is pretty obvious:

Annapurna (8,097m) is the 10th highest mountain in the world and the trek comprises 55km long trail with many marvelous viewpoints. You don’t need ropes, special climbing equipment and previous experience. But that doesn’t mean it’s a walk in the park! You have to be physically fit and have great endurance capacity to tackle high mountain pass, steep uphill section and rugged trail.

Explore Annapurna region, one of the most diverse region (both geographically & culturally), during this 15 days guided trip. Dramatic gorges, arid high mountain passes, Buddhist monasteries, rural farming villages and at every bend a splendor of the Annapurna peaks.

About Annapurna Circuit Trek Route

To reach the starting point of the trek, first you will drive via winding road route to Besisahar. The trek starts here  through remote trail, carved by Marshyangdi River, on suspension bridges before you get into picturesque settlement of Manang.

You will stay one more night at Manang to acclimatize and prepare your body for Thorung La Pass (5,416m) - the highest point on the trek. From here, you will descend gradually with plenty of ups and downs towards Muktinath Valley. You will conclude the classic Annapurna Circuit Trek at Jomsom. A scenic morning mountain flight will take you to the city of Lakes - Pokhara. We can arrange some additional days at Pokhara to sightsee the city and relax on the shores of Lake Phewa before you drive/fly back to Kathmandu.

Annapurna Circuit Trek Difficulty

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is a moderate trek suitable even for novice trekkers. However, a good level of fitness is required as you will be covering long distance each day for two weeks. The hardest part of the trek is crossing of Thorong La Pass (5,416m). The strenuous part is steep 45min uphill walk which tests your endurance and strength.
